Computer Training Center “Specialist” has become the first Practicum Testing Center
in Russia – Novell authorised test and certification
center in Linus technologies. One
of the most prestigious international cetrifications is now available in Russia.

Center “Specialist” announced the opening of the
first authorised Testing Center in Russia - Practicum Testing
Center. With this status TC
“Specialist” can accept applications for Certified Linux Engineer testing.
Certified professionals preparation has always been one of the quidelines of Novell’s policy.
Integrading and improving SUSE Linux and LPI programs reqirements, Novell offered two new
certificates – Certified Linux Professional (CLP) and Certified Linux Engineer (CLE). Both
programs imply some practical tasks to perform within certain time limits. Such exam allows
evaluating candidates’ skills and experience, his ability to deal with some specific scenarios
in Linux systems. Due to strict requirements for preparation and testing, CLP and CLE have
become one of the most prestigious global certificates in Linux OS.
By now CLE exam was available only abroad in specialised testing
centers (Practicum Testing
Centers). TC “Specialist” as Novell Business Partner Training Provider and Novell Training
Services (NTS) signed the agreement about the Opening of Practicum Testing
Center in Moscow.
Tests and checks, performed by NTS specialists showed that TC “Specialist” is capable of
holding online exams. They marked high speed connection with American servers, testing center
administrator’s competence. First exams are planned for the end of October, when Arthur Krukov
will take his practicum test for CLE status. In November practicum exams will be available for
all IT specialists.

Linux- which deals with learning
Novell net services such as
eDirectory, NetStorage, iPrint,
iFolder, etc. The last lesson of 5
days’ course is spent on Lab tasks,
similar to practicum exams for
Novell Certified Linux Engineer
certificate. |
For up to date IT professionals learning Linux OS and its applications is the key stage
