On July, 28,2004 Computer Training Center “Specialist”announced LPI Training Partner (LATP) status acquisition. Thus TC “Specialist”became the first in Russia and sixth in the world authirised LPI partner, proving instructors efficiency and years experience in Linux OS training.

Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is the first non-profit organisation, supporting professional use of Linux OS and OS free delivery. It unites thousands of IT-specialists and companies including IBM, Intel, Novell (SUSE), HP, etc. LPI is known for its various projects but most of all for its certification exams. The latter are globally recognised standard, and are available worldwide in many languages, are approved by my companies and supported by training centers. At present more than 10 000 LPIC certificates were obtained.

Over 3 years TC “Specialist” provides Linux OS courses, which help the students to gear up for LPIC Level 1 exams. Besides two basic courses on Linux adminisrtration, TC also runs an authorised Novell course, and first authorised ASP Linux courses will be available in autumn.

The course is delivered by our outstanding trainor - Arthur Krukov (LPIC Level 2 и CompTIA Linux+ Certified), with 9 years’ experience in Linux system administraion. Among his graduates are IT specialists from Alcatel, Xerox, Alfainsurance, Kaspersky Lab, Severstal, Sibintek, Slavneft, the employees of Moscow Underground and Central Bank of Russia. Each year more than 400 specialists cover Linux OS courses.

Gained experience empowered TC “Specialist” to start its authorisation simultaneously with PLI Training Partner program world presentation.
